NAISR Launches IB Career-related Programme to Expand Student Pathways

IBCP

At the Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam (NAISR), we are proud of our longstanding commitment to academic excellence. With a 100% pass rate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and scores consistently above the global average, our graduates are well-prepared for success in top universities around the world.
Now, we are excited to announce the launch of the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) — a dynamic alternative for students seeking a more career-focused path to graduation.
The IBCP is designed for students with a clear interest in a particular career or field, blending academic rigour with hands-on learning and real-world skills.

Why the IB Career-related Programme?
  • A flexible curriculum tailored to students’ career interests
  • Combines IB Diploma courses with professional pathways
  • Prepares students for university, apprenticeships, or direct employment
  • Emphasises critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and workplace skills
To support the career-related study component of the programme, NAISR has partnered with SUMAS – the Sustainability Management School in Switzerland. SUMAS offers students an innovative, forward-thinking business curriculum with a focus on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and global responsibility — equipping our students with the tools to thrive in tomorrow’s business world.
“Our IBDP success speaks for itself, but we know academic excellence isn’t one-size-fits-all,” says Ms. Alison Lipp, School Director. “The IBCP allows us to support a broader range of learners, helping every student achieve their potential — whether their goals are academic, professional, or both.
Ms. Nicoletta Unghiatti, our IB Career-related Programme Coordinator, adds:
“The IBCP empowers students to follow their passions while developing practical skills for life beyond school. It’s about offering meaningful choice and preparing students for the future they envision.”
At NAISR, we are proud to offer both the IBDP and IBCP, reaffirming our commitment to personalised learning, global education, and student success in every form.
