Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
Every year, students from BIS Abu Dhabi go to Arusha in Tanzania to work with our community partnerships there. Last year’s Permaculture Project involved building a fence for a vegetable plot at Nazareti Primary School.
Year 10 and Year 12 Tanzania Expedition students have been holding activities in school, with donations being kindly received and put toward the community projects in Tanzania this year. Funds collected will be used to buy practical materials and equipment, and to get advice from specialist people on site.
On Tuesday 29th October, the students have organised the following events:
Non-School Uniform Day: Tuesday 29th October
Suggested donation of 20 AED
Dress up in the colours of the Tanzanian flag! On 29th October students can come to school wearing blue, black, yellow or green to support our Tanzanian fundraising efforts. Students can wear one, or all, of the colours of the flag in their clothing choices. Have fun putting together the best combination of Tanzanian colours possible!
Face Painting
Cost: 10 AED
Primary students can get their face painted with the colours of the Tanzanian flag. Secondary art students will be waiting in the climbing wall area by the Primary entrance at the end of the school day. Secondary students will have the opportunity to get their face painted at break and lunchtimes.
