OUR SCHOOL FEES

The British International School Abu Dhabi’s fees reflect the extraordinary learning opportunities and world-leading British international curriculum we offer.

Alongside your child’s formal teaching and learning, our fees include pioneering Nord Anglia collaborations with The Juilliard School, UNICEF, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, plus many exciting co-curricular activities. These will inspire your child to be creative, follow their passions, and think differently.

Like all school fees in Abu Dhabi, our costs are subject to Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) approval.

BIS ABU DHABI'S FEES

The British International School Abu Dhabi 2025-2026 fees are listed below. Our fees are charged evenly, based on a 10-month year.

Registration Fee

To secure your child’s place, you'll need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of 5%. This fee will then be deducted from your tuition fees, once your child takes up their place.

Sibling Discount

We offer a sibling discount to families who already have children at our school. This is a 7.5% discount for the fourth child and 10% discount for the fifth child.

 

Re-enrolment Fee

A re-enrolment fee of AED 2,500 is payable at the start of Term 3 to confirm your child’s place for the following academic year. This amount will be fully credited toward Term 1 fees of the next school year.

We run a safe and efficient bus service that covers the main residential areas of Abu Dhabi. The costs of our service are detailed below.

Examination Fees

IGCSE (Years 10 & 11) and IB Diploma (Years 12 & 13) examination fees are not included in the school fees. These fees are set by the external examination boards and are typically confirmed between September and November. We will communicate the final fees to relevant parents as soon as they are made public.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Does The British International School Abu Dhabi charge any additional fees?

    Our tuition fees cover the cost of teaching and learning, textbooks and associated curricula materials for the academic year.

    School uniforms are purchased at an additional cost from Zaks Uniforms. 
    If additional learning support is required, this may be subject to extra cost.
    Exam fees are chargeable from the 2025-26 academic year.

  • How does the process differ if my company is paying the tuition fees?

    Our aim is to make applying to our school as simple as possible. If your company is paying your child’s school fees, our Admissions and Finance Teams will guide you through the process.

  • How long does the admissions process take?
    From the moment you get in touch with us to the point we offer your child a place, our admissions process should take no more than two weeks. It really depends on how quickly you wish to progress your application.
  • What is the assessment process before an offer is made?
    Assessment sessions are held throughout the academic year for Years 1-12. Play sessions for Nursery and Foundation Stage 2 are a mandatory step in the admissions process for all students currently in the UAE.

    Students applying to the school may be required to sit an assessment to gauge their level of English, additional learning needs, or to help decide which year level is most appropriate.
