Our Year 7 students share their thoughts about the experience:
“I’m very thankful to receive the seeds from Mr Paul. I’m excited to grow it and will take extra care so it stays healthy. I’ve learned from past mistakes and advice from gardeners, and I’ll try my best to keep my seed alive. I’m very honoured to be able to take care of these plants and be able to take photos and talk with Mr Paul, Mr Roo, Kroo Woke, and Khun Big. It was a special experience to meet all of these teachers.”
- Chiharu
“I’m proud to receive the seeds from Mr. Paul and Mr Roo. I’ve learned a lot from them and am doing my best to care for the plant. Growing trees has helped me understand how challenging it is to grow plants, but I’m determined to keep them alive. This project has been special because so many teachers, including the gardening team and Khun Big, supported us.”
- Kei
“I’ve been to other international and Japanese schools, but STA gave me a chance to meet and talk with the principal, Mr Paul, and other teachers, and I planted a real seed. That was very special, and I think my friends would be surprised to hear about this chance. I also learned new things and had fun.”
- Sara
“I met Mr Roo and Khun Ami and helped plant a seed with my friends. I handed out soil and wet wipes, and we took a photo together. Later, Ms Kiyomi told us a gardener kindly brought us tree seed pods to explore. I’m really thankful for this special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”.

NAE Global Campus received a staggering 3,300 entries from 66 Nord Anglia schools all around the world, and one student from STA shone bright, winning Best in Show in the Art Music category: a big congratulations to Freya in Year 8 for her truly outstanding achievement and stellar performance!
High School Design and Technology students step outside the classroom to explore design and architecture in Bangkok. Year 8 students visited a uniquely designed café precinct, where they learned from the architect of the precinct himself how thoughtful use of materials, geometry, and landscaping can transform spaces. Meanwhile, Year 12 IB students explored the fusion of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials at the impressive studio of renowned Thailand-based architect Patrick Keane.
Sports Day in Primary School is a joyful and exciting event that brings the school community together to celebrate movement, teamwork, and fun. With a wide range of activities—from egg and spoon races to shot put throws—students in Primary compete in House teams, cheered on by teachers, families, and friends. The day encourages physical activity, builds good sportsmanship, and creates lasting memories, making it one of the most special days of the school year.
