We’re incredibly proud to announce that Arhamm (Year 11) has been selected for the MIT Student Trip—an exciting and highly competitive global opportunity!
Only 66 students were chosen from over 500 applicants worldwide, and Arhamm’s innovative thinking and passion for problem-solving helped him earn a spot among them. As part of the programme, he will visit the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), collaborate with students from around the globe, and engage with world-leading researchers on some of today’s most cutting-edge technologies.
This opportunity is part of the ongoing MIT–Nord Anglia Education collaboration, which connects our students with real-world challenges and inspires them through hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and innovation. The application challenge asked students to identify an issue they care about and design a creative solution using MIT’s resources. Arhamm impressed the judges with his thoughtful response and forward-thinking approach.
We are immensely proud of this remarkable achievement and extend our gratitude to the teachers and staff who supported him along the way. Congratulations, Arhamm—we can't wait to see what you’ll do next!
NAE Global Campus received a staggering 3,300 entries from 66 Nord Anglia schools all around the world, and one student from STA shone bright, winning Best in Show in the Art Music category: a big congratulations to Freya in Year 8 for her truly outstanding achievement and stellar performance!
High School Design and Technology students step outside the classroom to explore design and architecture in Bangkok. Year 8 students visited a uniquely designed café precinct, where they learned from the architect of the precinct himself how thoughtful use of materials, geometry, and landscaping can transform spaces. Meanwhile, Year 12 IB students explored the fusion of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials at the impressive studio of renowned Thailand-based architect Patrick Keane.
