Well done to all the KS2 children from Years 3-6 for participating in the TTRS Rest of the World Rocks competition last week. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed competing against schools from around the globe. It was fantastic to see the children come together as a team to climb the leaderboard.
I am thrilled to announce that St Andrews International School finished 3rd overall in the Rest of the World Rocks competition based on total score. The challenge required children to answer as many multiplication and division questions correctly as possible, giving their class and school the best chance of winning. The competition was intense, with questions answered by 55,593 pupils from more than 435 schools and 4,667 classes across the world!
Our school statistics were equally impressive:
Highest Scoring school in the world: 3rd Place
Highest Scoring schools in Bangkok: 1st Place
Highest scoring class at STA and total class score:
Most Valuable Players (MVP) in St Andrews International School
A special congratulations to Maho Takeda from 6H, who finished 14th place out of the Bangkok Schools – Well done, Maho!

NAE Global Campus received a staggering 3,300 entries from 66 Nord Anglia schools all around the world, and one student from STA shone bright, winning Best in Show in the Art Music category: a big congratulations to Freya in Year 8 for her truly outstanding achievement and stellar performance!
High School Design and Technology students step outside the classroom to explore design and architecture in Bangkok. Year 8 students visited a uniquely designed café precinct, where they learned from the architect of the precinct himself how thoughtful use of materials, geometry, and landscaping can transform spaces. Meanwhile, Year 12 IB students explored the fusion of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials at the impressive studio of renowned Thailand-based architect Patrick Keane.
Sports Day in Primary School is a joyful and exciting event that brings the school community together to celebrate movement, teamwork, and fun. With a wide range of activities—from egg and spoon races to shot put throws—students in Primary compete in House teams, cheered on by teachers, families, and friends. The day encourages physical activity, builds good sportsmanship, and creates lasting memories, making it one of the most special days of the school year.
