Leading international schools organisation Nord Anglia Education today announced the launch of INSIGHTS, a brand-new publication looking at the biggest issues in global education.
Lord David Puttnam, Chairman, Nord Anglia’s Education Advisory Board, said: “INSIGHTS features the views of our own teachers alongside opinions from renowned experts from the worlds of neuroscience, academia, wellbeing, and business. In our first issue, we explore whether children can learn how to be happy and – if they can – what it means for them in later life, through to whether memorisation still has its place in a world where everything is just a swipe or click away. And, of course, the pivotal moment facing the teaching profession in how it chooses to use AI.”

NAE Global Campus received a staggering 3,300 entries from 66 Nord Anglia schools all around the world, and one student from STA shone bright, winning Best in Show in the Art Music category: a big congratulations to Freya in Year 8 for her truly outstanding achievement and stellar performance!
High School Design and Technology students step outside the classroom to explore design and architecture in Bangkok. Year 8 students visited a uniquely designed café precinct, where they learned from the architect of the precinct himself how thoughtful use of materials, geometry, and landscaping can transform spaces. Meanwhile, Year 12 IB students explored the fusion of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials at the impressive studio of renowned Thailand-based architect Patrick Keane.
Sports Day in Primary School is a joyful and exciting event that brings the school community together to celebrate movement, teamwork, and fun. With a wide range of activities—from egg and spoon races to shot put throws—students in Primary compete in House teams, cheered on by teachers, families, and friends. The day encourages physical activity, builds good sportsmanship, and creates lasting memories, making it one of the most special days of the school year.
