Over the past few weeks, students from Years 3 to 6 have been enthusiastically practising and participating in the annual BVIS Young Musician of the Year. From over 50 auditions, judges along the way had the challenge of selecting the five most outstanding acts to advance to the final round. The finalists included:
Joy (Year 3) – piano performance
Truong An (Year 5) – piano performance
Nick (Year 6) – piano performance
Minh Kien (Year 6) – drum performance
Lulu (Year 5) – vocal and piano performance
In the final round, all five young artists showcased incredible confidence and impressive musical skills. After careful deliberation, the title of BVIS Young Musician of the Year 2025 was awarded to Nick (Year 6) for his magnificent piano performance!
But the journey didn’t end there. On Tuesday, 13th May 2025, all five students proudly represented BVIS at the citywide Young Musician Showcase event hosted this year at BIS.
We are immensely proud of every student who participated in the competition. Each of them demonstrated passion, perseverance, courage, and true musical talent. Keep nurturing your love for music and shine even brighter in the future!
