After three years of teaching in the UK, Philip joined BVIS Hanoi in 2016. For him, this time has flown by. He has really enjoyed working at BVIS and being part of how it has grown and changed. He has also loved living and exploring Vietnam.
For most of these years, Philip has taught in Upper KS2, but as he has gained more experience of teaching internationally, he has also been able to take on additional responsibilities. In his role as English Subject Coordinator, he helped to develop the English curriculum and assessment and, during the pandemic, he contributed to the Global Campus by creating an online Virtual Curriculum.
Away from work, Philip enjoys spending time with his family. He is also a keen photographer and enjoys watching live music, playing the guitar, and playing football.
