Safer Internet Day 2021 This Tuesday, 9th February marks Safer Internet Day, the theme of which is "Together for a better Internet". As part of our initiative to create a safer Internet and raise awareness of Safer Internet Day, we are launching a ‘Think Before You Post” poster competition. As part of our initiative to create a safer Internet and raise awareness of Safer Internet Day, we are launching a ‘Think Before You Post” poster competition.

Safer Internet Day calls upon people to join together to make the Internet a safer and better place for all, and especially for children and young people. The aim of the day is to encourage people to join the movement, to participate, and to make the most of the Internet's potential to bring people together.

With a global, community-led approach, Safer Internet Day encourages everyone to come together and play their part. Whether you are a young person, a parent or a carer, everyone has a role to play in creating and maintaining a better online world:

"Think Before You Post" Competition

As part of our initiative to create a safer Internet and raise awareness of Safer Internet Day 2021, we are launching a ‘Think Before You Post” poster competition.

This competition is open to all year groups, and we invite our students to create a poster that can be used to promote Internet safety, which will be used by the school in social media posts and future campaigns.

If you would like to enter your poster into the "Think Before You Post" competition, please email Miss Carey with your entry: ([email protected]).  The closing date for the competition is Sunday, 21st Februrary 2021.
