We take a closer look at some of the scenery, props and artwork of Bugsy Malone.
Many people collaborated in the wonderful production of Bugsy Malone. The Art Department at St Andrews International School Bangkok had great fun helping create scenery, parts of the set, some props and posters for the show. We drew on the plethora of skill from Year 9 to Year 12 CAS students and are thankful for all the hard work people put in. Here is a small selection of some of the artwork from Bugsy, just in case you missed it. Special mentions should go to Talent in Year 9, who created some beautiful digital imagery, including the poster and tickets and the Year 12 CAS team, who created the installation of the interior of Pop Becker’s bookstore.
This week’s Artist of the Week has been awarded to Anmol in Year 10. Anmol, a GCSE Photography student, created a series of experimental portraits by layering colour filters in Photoshop. She went on to present the images as a video, viewable here.
At St Andrews Bangkok, we’re proud to offer the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP)—a pathway that blends academic excellence with real-world learning. Designed for students with a passion for a particular career field, the IBCP allows them to gain practical skills, IB-level academics, and global perspectives to prepare for university and beyond.
With access to career-related studies, IB Diploma courses, and personal development opportunities, our students build the confidence and experience needed to take their next steps. Whether pursuing higher education or entering the professional world, the IBCP ensures they are future-ready.
