There will be a sale of second-hand uniform in the school canteen on Wednesday, 22 March 2017 from 07.00 a.m.
At this time, we will also lay out all non-uniform items which have been handed into Lost and Found.
Please come by and have a look and claim any of your lost non-uniform clothes or pick up some good quality second-hand uniform at very good prices. All profits from the sale of second-hand uniform will be given to charity. Many, many thanks to Albane for taking on this job.
While we plan to hold sales of second-hand uniform on a regular basis, if at any time you are interested in a particular item or, if you don’t come to school often so cannot browse at our sales, Albane is happy to take queries about second-hand uniform by e-mail. Please contact her on [email protected]
We have been reorganizing the Lost and Found over the past few days, preparing it to be handed back to school to be managed. In order for us to be able to do this, Lost and Found is temporarily unavailable during the day. Please bear with us for the next few days while we finish the handover. Moving forward, lost items that have names on will again be delivered back to the student. Valuable items, such as ID cards, phones, calculators and so on will still be given to the School Office for safe-keeping.
You will be surprised to learn that approximately 80 per cent of all items in the Lost and Found do not have any name on them. It is impossible for items that do not have names on to be returned to their owners. This includes shoes, water bottles, lunch boxes and towels.
I cannot emphasize enough how helpful it would be for all concerned if all items that come into school have a name clearly marked on them.
We look forward to seeing you at our second-hand uniform sale on Wednesday. Thanks again to Albane for assuming this role.
Thank you.

Are you a new student at St Andrews International School Bangkok looking to dip your toes into the world of swimming? Or perhaps you are a current student who has always wanted to improve your skills in the pool? Then there is no better time than now to join the STA Marlins Swimming Squad. The Marlins Recreational Group is our latest swimming programme, welcoming all beginners on Tuesdays after school.
At St Andrews Bangkok, we believe that every child has the potential to discover and develop a unique musical voice. Our Instrumental Programme offers students an extraordinary opportunity to explore and master a range of musical instruments, fostering a lifelong love for music and enhancing their cognitive and creative development.
Students enjoy having their own device which they can personalise and which is always available. In response to concerns around bag weight and battery life, we extended the range of devices that students were able to bring to school.
As Term 3 comes to an end, three senior students, Eleonore, Natalie, and Ananya, reflect on their experiences in the IB Diploma Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok. Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
