Dance at Northbridge is off to a fantastic start this school year due to the addition of a spacious dance studio with sprung floors on the Arts floor of the Primary building.
Students in Secondary have enjoyed having more space to dance and it has resulted in more confidence in their movements and performance qualities.
Especially in Grades 8 and 9, where the students are exploring the idea of the expanding their Kinesphere with expansive powerful movements to express from one of the core works of the Juilliard Creative Classroom.
It will become a busy place for dance between classes and after school so please come visit the beautiful space if you haven't done so already.
The Music department have been lucky to have Mr Ian joining as a music Teaching Assistant this year. He is a talented musician who plays many instruments with popular vocals and guitar being his forte.
Grade 7 music class have started learning the flute. These are called jFlutes and are made to be sturdy and washable so they can be shared between classes.
