The BISB WOLVES Secondary Girls' and Boys' Volleyball teams have wrapped up a short but action-packed season, demonstrating remarkable growth, resilience, and sportsmanship in both the Danube Valley Athletic Conference (DVAC) festivals, tournaments and the BISL Budapest Cup.
The MS Boys' team delivered a fantastic performance at the Budapest Cup, securing an impressive 2nd place finish and showcasing their teamwork and determination throughout the tournament. At the DVAC tournament - hosted right here at BISB - the boys battled hard, ultimately finishing 4th after a tough bronze medal match against long-time rivals VIS. Their efforts and commitment were truly commendable.
Meanwhile, the MS Girls' team showed incredible spirit and grit in both competitions. In the Budapest Cup, they played with passion and purpose, coming heartbreakingly close to the podium in a heroic final match. At DVAC, the girls won 3 out of 4 games, but due to an unfortunate tie-breaking system, they placed 5th overall. Despite this, the team maintained the highest level of integrity and dignity, never giving up and supporting one another until the very end.
We are immensely proud of all our student-athletes for their individual progress, their unwavering dedication, and their sportsmanship throughout the season. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue training with these talented and ambitious students as we prepare for even greater achievements next year.
Go WOLVES!

After learning about Attila József for a few lessons, our Hungarian teacher led us on a Year arrival, we stepped into a truly delightful inner garden, adorned with exquisite flowers.
Year 9 Service Learning project, under the name of Wellbeing Fair, was a huge success! Everyone in our year group has been preparing for months to be able to deliver such a result. The collaboration work was well spread out, with people from Sapphire writing some positive notes, taking smiling photos and organising a fitness challenge. Jade was hard at work making sure that everything goes well at their bake sale, and their football event. Ruby created a quiz, had a juice bar, and organised a penalty shootout.
